Use of your QAITO pellet burner

Fill in your QAITO with pellets, then light up the pellets with a pellet starter. In less than 5 minutes, you will get a generous and cheerful fire which will burn during approx. 1h30  (*) and will warm you up even longer thanks to the calories accumulated by the cast iron burner.  If you wish to start a new fire (**), add some more pellets in your QAITO on approx. 4/5 th of its surface : the remaining burning ashes will light up the pellets.

And QAITO is ready for a new start !!

  Approx. cost of one fire : less than 2.40 €  (price calculated with a 15 kg pellet bag at 4.80 €/u)

• Environmental friendly and cost efficient : 5 kg pellets/ hour, for a rather reasonable cost (~ 1.60 cts per pellet load)
  • (Reminder: you have to reload on 4/5 of the SURFACE, that is to say leave a small part of the burner without pellets so that the fresh air revives the embers and rekindles the pellets. You can however reload up to the top of the burner height).

(*) Each fireplace installation, each house, each weather conditions or use of a fireplace being specific, the manufacturer cannot commit himself with a precise duration of pellet combustion.

(**) Consider more or less 1 pellet reload per 75 mn.

(***) The air supplied to the fireplace - primary air - must come from the floor grille at the bottom of the insert or wood stove.

OPTION UPPER PART QR31 : for a longer combustion time (an additional 30 to 45 minutes)

The Q50 can be used in certain cases with the QR31 extension:

- For open fireplaces, to achieve a burn time exceeding 1 hour 30 minutes. Approximately 30 to 45 minutes longer, depending on the firebox.

- For very large inserts (see the image of the double-entry firebox) (please call us to confirm this option).

The burn time depends on both the installation and the pellet height in the cast iron crucible. With the QR31 extension, you can achieve a pellet height of 17 cm and therefore a longer burn time.
